Flagler College Athletics

Noel Anderson of the men's golf team was selected as the Academy Bus Athlete of the Week, for the period ending May 14.

Anderson finished in 10th place at the NCAA Division II South/Southeast Regional at Muscle Shoals, Alabama. He shot a 1-under par 215 (74-70-71) for the 54-hole tournament. Anderson's score was the best recorded by a Flagler golfer since Spencer Schindler's 212 in 2014 and the best finish since Schinder, who tied for third. 

Anderson helped lead Flagler to a tie for ninth place in the 20-team tournament. Seventeen of the 20 teams at the regional were ranked nationally.

Anderson finished the season with a team-best 74.21 strokes per round average. He posted four top 10 finishes.
