Natalia Azcue of the women's golf team was selected as the Athlete of the Month, sponsored by Sleep Inn, for the month of April.

Azcue was the athlete of the week during the month for the period ending April 16.

Azcue earned all-tournament honors after shooting a 4-over par 220 to finish in second place to help lead the Flagler women's golf team to its second Peach Belt Conference title. She shot a three-over par 75 in the first round and then had a big second round where she was four-under par on the back nine before finishing with an even par 72. This was her first top 10 or top five finish this season.
