Mackenzie Conley of the softball team was selected as the Sizzlin' Saint award recipient, sponsored by Applebee's, for the month of March.
"Mackenzie is more than just a an athlete, she is a true leader," said Kristen Overton, head softball coach. "She is always putting her teammates first, which is a statement about her character. She is always taking the initiative when our team is involved in off the field activities, such as Take Back the Night and Green Dot. Although she is not a member of the SAAC, she is constantly supporting the SAAC initiatives and helping out to get teammates more involved. Her commitment to being a leader extends to the classroom, where she is one of our top academic formers. One of the most impressive characteristics of Mack is her willingness to learn both on and off the field."
