Tiffany Hodge of the women's basketball team was selected as the Academy Bus Athlete of the Week, for the period ending Feb. 19.

This is the fourth time this season Hodge has been selected for the weekly award (Nov. 27 and Jan. 15, Jan. 29).

Hodge averaged a double-double in both games last week as she scored 11.5 points and grabbed 15.5 rebounds per game to help the Saints post a 2-0 record. She shot 64.3 percent (9-14) from the field and averaged 39.0 minutes per game. In a 63-50 win over UNC Pembroke last Saturday, she tied the program's single-game record for rebounds with 21. The last person to accomplish this feat was Heidi Nissen back in 1991. Hodge added 13 points and 10 rebounds in an overtime win at USC Aiken.

Hodge leads the Peach Belt Conference in three categories: defensive rebounds (219), total rebounds (300) and rebounds per game (12.0). She is fifth in the PBC in field goal percentage at 53.2 and is third in minutes played per game (35.9).
