Tiffany Hodge of the women's basketball team was selected as the Academy Bus Athlete of the Week, for the period ending Jan. 29.

This is the third time this season Hodge has been selected for the weekly award (Nov. 27 and Jan. 15).

Hodge averaged a double-double in both games last week as she scored 16.5 points and grabbed 11.5 rebounds per game. She made 46.7 percent (14-30) of her shots from the field. Hodge did this averaging 37 minutes per game. Last Saturday, she scored 20 points and corralled 17 rebounds vs. USC Aiken. Hodge also scored 13 points and grabbed six rebounds vs. Francis Marion last Wednesday.

Hodge leads the Peach Belt Conference in three categories: defensive rebounds (143), total rebounds (195) and rebounds per game (10.9). She is fifth in the PBC in field goal percentage at 53.5 and is fifth in minutes played per game (34.6).
