Cortlin Davis of the men's basketball team was selected as the Academy Bus Athlete of the Week, for the period ending Jan. 8.

This is the second time this season Davis has been selected for the weekly award (Dec. 18).

Davis led the Saints last week as he averaged 19.5 points, 5.0 rebounds and 3.5 assists per game. He made 60% (15-25) of his shots from the field and made 75% (9-12) of his free throw attempts. Davis scored 15 of his game-high 23 points vs. Young Harris last Saturday. He had 16 points and five assists vs. North Georgia last Wednesday. 

Davis is fourth in the Peach Belt Conference in scoring average (19.1 ppg) and 11th in field goals made (70) as well as points scored (191).
