Ashley Cheewah of the volleyball team was selected as the Sizzlin' Saint award recipient, sponsored by Applebee's, for the month of October.

“Ashley Cheewah would be a perfect fit for this award," said head volleyball coach Matt Affolder. "She has had a tremendous senior year thus far. If I went back to look at the stats for the past month it would probably show her hitting a career-best percentage with career best kills per set. She impacts our team in so many ways and is a leader by example on our team by how she goes about every day with a workmanlike attitude. She also takes on the energetic, fun and talkative role in getting the team energized. Ashley has had an impact on this program since she first arrived and she is having a big-time senior year.”
