Lara Ardler of the women's golf team was selected as the Academy Bus Athlete of the Week, for the period ending Oct. 30.

Ardler was selected as the Peach Belt Conference Women's Golfer of the Week after she posted her first top five performance in a tournament with her third place finish at the 14th annual Flagler Fall Slam. The Bremen, Germany native shot a 2-over 146, which beat her previous best score for a 36-hole event by two strokes. Ardler's even round 72 was her best 18-hole score in her career. Entering the tournament, she ranked fifth in the PBC in scoring average (74.5). Ardler moved to fourth in the PBC in the PBC with a 74 stroke average.
