Vaughn McCall of the men's basketball team was selected as the TraveLynx Athlete of the Week, for the period ending Feb. 14.

McCall helped lead Flagler to a 2-1 week as he averaged 25.3 points per game. He made 86.7% (13-15) of his shots from the free throw line as well as 46.9% (15-32) from the 3-point line. McCall scored a season-high 27 points in a loss on Saturday to Lander University and had another 26 points in an 88-80 win vs. Augusta University on Wednesday. In the game against Lander, he made 8-of-16 from 3-point range, falling just one more made 3-pointer from tying Flagler's all-time record.

McCall ranks 12th in the Peach Belt in 3-pointers made (56) and 10th in points per 40 minutes (22.2).
