Teosha Ray of the women's basketball team was selected as the TraveLynx Athlete of the Week, for the period ending Jan. 31.

Ray helped lead Flagler to a 1-1 week as she averaged a team-best 21.5 points and 6.5 rebounds per game. She made 53.8% (14-26) of her shots from the field. Ray made 50% (4-8) of her 3-point attempts as well as 84.6% (11-13) from the charity stripe. She tallied five steals to lead the team. Ray scored a team-high 22 points, the only player to crack double-digits, at Columbus State University and then put up 21 points and eight rebounds to help Flagler rally past UNC Pembroke last Saturday.

Ray is fourth in the Peach Belt in free throw percentage (77%) and eighth in points per game (13.3).
