Heloise Duffie de Tassigny of the women's indoor track team was selected as the TraveLynx Athlete of the Week, for the period ending Jan. 17.

De Tassigny won the 800 meter run with a time of 2:18.26 at last Saturday's Art and Linda Maillet UNC Open at Chapel Hill, North Carolina. Her time was just three second shy of a provisional qualifying time for the NCAA Division II Championships. De Tassigny won by more than four seconds. Her time also broke the Flagler record in the event, 2:39.63 set by Rachel Nelson last year in the inaugural season for the program.
