Michael Boss of the men's golf team was selected as the TraveLynx Athlete of the Week, for the period ending Sept. 27.

Boss was the leader after the first 36 holes of the Jay Jennison Cup played last week at the Slammer & Squire Course at the World Golf Village. The senior shot an 8-under par 136 which included a hole-in-one during the second round. His second round 66 broke the tournament's record and was Boss' career-low for a round. Boss finished in fifth place, his first top five finish, with a 3-under 213 (also a career-low) and helped the Saints finish second as a team.

Boss is third on the team in scoring average with a 72.8 strokes per round average. His second round tally at last week's tournament is the lowest round so far in the Peach Belt Conference.
