Mary Jo Nanti of the women's tennis team was selected as the TraveLynx Athlete of the Week, for the period ending March 22.

Nanti posted a straight sets win playing at No. 3 singles for the first time this season and also teamed with Thaisa Pereira at No. 1 doubles to produce an 8-5 win to help No. 28 Flagler College defeat No. 35 Lander University on the road Saturday, 6-3.

Nanti improved to 8-4 in singles play and is 7-1 against Peach Belt Conference competition. She has won four consecutive singles matches. Nanti and Pereira are 6-3 as a tandem and they are 6-1 in league doubles matches.
