Treva Mason of the women's basketball team was selected as the Athlete of the Month, sponsored by the Hampton Inn & Suites Vilano Beach, for the month of February.

Mason was selected as the student-athlete of the week on Feb. 8.

Mason led the Saints with a 13.7 points and 9.0 rebounds per game average in the month of February. She also made 59.4% of her shots from the field.

When she was selected as the player of the week, Mason had scored a season-high 24 points and grabbed seven rebounds in an upset win at Armstrong State University (Feb. 4). She recorded her ninth double-double of the season with 15 points and a game-high 17 rebounds in a tough loss to Francis Marion (Feb. 7).

Mason was selected to the All-PBC third-team, as announced last weekend. She scored her 1,000th point last month and also finished her career with several Flagler records - rebounds and field goal percentage.
