Treva Mason of the women's basketball team was selected as the TraveLynx Student-Athlete of the Week, for the period ending February 8.

This is the second consecutive week Mason has been recognized with the weekly honor.

Mason averaged 19.5 points and 12.0 rebounds per game to help lead the Saints to a 1-1 week. She shot a remarkable 69.2% (18-26) from the field.

She scored a season-high 24 points and grabbed seven rebounds in an upset win at Armstrong State University (Feb. 4). Mason made 12-of-18 shots from the field. She recorded her ninth double-double of the season with 15 points and a game-high 17 rebounds in a tough loss to Francis Marion (Feb. 7). 

Mason leads the Saints in scoring (14.5 ppg), rebounding (10.8 rpg) and field goal percentage (.611). She leads the Peach Belt Conference in shooting, is second in rebounding and ninth in scoring. Mason is just 56 points of becoming the sixth 1,000-point scorer in the program's history.
