Alex Alford of the women's basketball team was selected as the Sizzlin' Saint award recipient, sponsored by Applebee's, for the month of December.

"Alex has that "it" factor and has embraced her role this season," said Erika Lang-Montgomery, head women's basketball coach. "She had a great first semester academically and is working hard every day to improve at the guard position. Alex gives us valuable minutes on the floor making plays on both ends of the court while providing entertainment for her coaches and teammates off the court which is also needed."
