Corey Mundy of the men's cross country team was selected as the TraveLynx Student-Athlete of the Week, for the period ending December 7.

This is the fifth time this fall Mundy has been selected as the student-athlete of the week.

Mundy ran in the NCAA Division II National Championship 10K race last Saturday at Louisville, Kentucky. He finished the course with a time of 32:40.0 on a cool and damp day. Mundy finished 122nd. This was Mundy's final cross country competition and puts a wrap on a standout career.

Mundy finishes his career as a four-time all-Peach Belt Conference selection and earned all-region honors the last two years. He was the PBC's Runner of the Year this year and earned freshman of the year honors in 2011. Mundy holds the school's fastest 8K time (24:29) set last year at the PBC Championship.
