Marie Santacroce of the women's golf team was selected as the TraveLynx Student-Athlete of the Week, for the period ending October 26.

Santacroce carded a 3-over par 147 to finish in a three-way tie for third place at the Saint Leo Invitational held Monday and Tuesday (Oct. 20-21). After shooting a 77 in the first round, she came back and shot a 2-under 70 to vault up the final leaderboard. That is the lowest round recorded by a Flagler golfer this season and is the second lowest score for a round this season in the Peach Belt. She also helped Flagler, ranked No. 8 according to the latest Golfstat Relative Ranking, to a second place finish just nine strokes behind top-ranked Florida Tech. Out of the 17 teams in the field, 10 were in the latest Golfstat Top 25.

Santacroce's finish was her second in the top 10 this fall and first in the top five. She is tied for fourth in the PBC in strokes per round (75.5).
