Joanna Yoo of the women's golf team was selected as the Student-Athlete of the Month, sponsored by the Hampton Inn & Suites Vilano Beach, for the month of April.

Yoo was selected as the student-athlete of the week on April 20.

The highlight of the month for Yoo was earning medalist honors at the 2014 Peach Belt Conference Championship on April 19. Due to rain, the tournament was shortened to 18 holes and she tied for first place with a 3-over par 74. Yoo birdied the second playoff hole to win.

Yoo finished second on the team in scoring average with 76.92 strokes per round. She won one tournament, had three top five and six top 10 finishes this year.
