Joanna Yoo of the women's golf team was selected as the TraveLynx Student-Athlete of the Week, for the period ending April 20.

Yoo finished tied for first at the 2014 Peach Belt Conference Women's Golf Championship on Saturday. The tournament was cut in half to 18 holes due to the weather, but Yoo managed to shoot a 3-over 74 and then earned medalist honors by winning the second playoff hole with a birdie. Yoo finished with five birdies (not counting the playoff round), nine pars, one bogey and three double bogeys. She also earned all-tournament honors.

Yoo is second on the team in scoring average (76.76). At the pre-tournament banquet, she was named to the all-conference first-team.
