For the fourth time this season, Williesha Spencer of the women's basketball team was selected as the TraveLynx Student-Athlete of the Week, this time for the period ending Jan. 19.

Spencer has been tabbed as the player of the week: Nov. 17, Dec. 8 and Dec. 22.

Spencer led the Saints with a 29.5 points per game average last week and helped lead Flagler to a 2-0 week. She shot 41.5% from the field, making 22 of 53 from the field. She made 91.7% (11-12) of her attempts from the free throw line. Spencer also averaged 4.5 steals per game.

Her 33 points against GRU Augusta helped rally the Saints to a 79-70 overtime win. Spencer followed that with a 26-point effort on Saturday as Flagler held off Georgia Southwestern for its first road win of the season. She added five boards and five steals.

Spencer is second in the Peach Belt in points (313), points per game (22.4) and free throws made (66); third in field goals made (114); fourth in free throw percentage (85.7); and seventh in assists (47).
