For the second consecutive week, Keith Matthews of the men's basketball team was selected as the TraveLynx Student-Athlete of the Week, for the period ending Dec. 1.

Keith Matthews led the Saints in scoring (20.5 ppg) and rebounding (16.5 rpg) in a pair of victories last week. In an 82-65 win over Puerto Rico-Rio Piedras, Matthews had a monster game with 18 points and a game-high 21 rebounds. He did the bulk of his damage in the second half, helping the Saints rally from a two-point halftime deficit. Matthews scored 13 points and grabbed 14 rebounds in the second half. In an 80-71 win over Palm Beach Atlantic on Saturday, Matthews scored 14 of his game-high 23 points in the second half. He added 12 rebounds for his third double-double in as many games.

Matthews leads the Peach Belt Conference in rebounds per game and is eighth in blocks and points per game.
