Corey Mundy of the men's cross country team was selected as the TraveLynx Student-Athlete of the Week, for the period ending Oct. 13.

This is the second time Mundy has been selected as the student-athlete of the week (Sept. 29).

Mundy is rapidly approaching a 29-year old record at Flagler for the fastest 8K time. Last Friday (Oct. 11) at the FSU Invitational, he finished with a time of 25:11.99 which is almost 18 seconds off the all-time record held by Troy Holland in 1984. Mundy finished fourth in the non-NCAA Division I race and helped the Saints finish in ninth place as a team.

His time on Friday was the fastest time this season in an 8K in the Peach Belt Conference by six seconds.
