Flagler College Athletics

Emilee Taylor of the volleyball team was selected as the TraveLynx Student-Athlete of the Week, for the period ending Sept. 22.

Taylor helped lead Flagler to a 3-0 week which included two Peach Belt Conference wins and a win over then-No. 25 Rollins College. She led the Saints with 29 kills (2.90/set) and digs 38 (3.80/set). Taylor also added 11 total blocks. In a 3-0 sweep of Georgia College, she recorded her seventh double-double of the season with match-highs in kills (10) and digs (11).  Taylor added eight kills, 14 digs and four blocks against GRU Augusta and capped off the weekend with her eighth-double-double of the season with 11 kills and 13 digs in a sweep of Rollins. She added five block assists.

For the season, Taylor leads the team with 140 kills (3.33/set) and is tied for first with 17 aces. She is second in digs with 143 (3.40/set) and third in blocks with 27.
