Sara Mund of the women's cross country team was selected as the TraveLynx Student-Athlete of the Week, for the period ending Sept. 15.

Mund finished 24th (overall) at the University of Florida Mountain Dew Invitational with a 6K time of 22:21.55 and helped lead Flagler to a second place finish in the non-DI field. Her time was the second-best time posted by the non-DI runners. She finished ahead of all of the University of Tampa (ranked No. 21) runners. Mund's unofficial 5K split is listed at 18:30 which would rank sixth all-time in the best 5K times in the history of the program. The time is also the fastest 5K time (unofficial) in the PBC thus far.
