Jen Knurek of the women's basketball team was selected as the Student-Athlete of the Month, sponsored by Courtyard and Fairfield Inn & Suites by Marriott St. Augustine, for the month of December.

She was selected the student-athlete of the week on Dec. 2.

Knurek averaged 13.7 points and 11.3 rebounds per game as Flagler posted a 2-1 record in the month of December. She made 50% (18-36) of her shots from the field and also tallied nine assists and five steals.

Knurek scored 15 points, grabbed 14 rebounds and tallied six assists in a 67-63 win over Ave Maria University on Dec. 1.
