Flagler College Athletics

Casey Gnann of the volleyball team was selected as the Student-Athlete of the Month, sponsored by Courtyard and Fairfield Inn & Suites by Marriott St. Augustine, for the month of September.

She was selected the student-athlete of the week on Sept. 10.

Gnann helped lead Flagler to a 9-6 month by averaging 6.00 digs per set. She led the country in that category at least once last month and is currently in the top 10. Gnann leads the Peach Belt in digs per set. In the 15 matches she played in, Gnann tallied 34 assists and had 17 service aces.

Gnann collected a season-high 33 digs vs. Wingate on Sept. 8 at the USC Aiken Invitational.
