Brett Moreland of the baseball team was selected as the TraveLynx Student-Athlete of the Week for the period ending Apr. 22.

Moreland helped lead Flagler to a 1-2 week after batting .385 (5-for-13) with a triple, two runs batted in and two runs scored. His two-run triple on Saturday proved to be the game-winning hit in Flagler's 6-3 win at Lander.

Moreland leads the team with a .374 batting average with his team-leading 71 hits, four triples and 100 total bases. He leads the club in slugging percentage (.526) and on-base percentage (.411).
