Donna Munafo of the softball team was selected as the TraveLynx Student-Athlete of the Week for the period ending Mar. 20.

Munafo made seven appearances in the circle last week for Flagler. She posted a 1-1 record, tallied a save and recorded a 0.94 earned run average to help the Saints go 4-4. Munafo logged 22.1 innings, struck out 15 batters and only allowed three earned runs.

For the season, Munafo sports a staff-best 0.75 ERA and is 5-3 with a save. She has made 21 appearances with seven starts and four complete games. Munafo has 52 strike outs in 65.1 innings.
