Kyle Foti of the baseball team was selected as the TraveLynx Student-Athlete of the Week for the period ending Feb. 27.

Foti batted .667 with three doubles. a triple, a home run, three runs batted in, scored four runs and collected 14 total bases for a 1.556 slugging percentage in two games last week as Flagler went 3-1.

In the second game of the doubleheader on Saturday, Foti hit a double and a triple to help Flagler to a 7-4 win. He hit a two-run double in Flagler's six-run eighth inning. On Sunday, Foti went 4-for-5 with a solo home run and two runs scored.

For the season, Foti is batting .289 with a team-high five doubles, two home runs and 10 runs scored. He also leads the team with a .632 slugging percentage.
