Chad July of the men's basketball team was selected as the TraveLynx Student-Athlete of the Week for the period ending Dec. 5.

July averaged 19.0 points and 7.0 rebounds per game to help lead Flagler to a 2-0 week which included a 79-73 upset win over No. 5 USC Aiken. He also made 81.3% (13-16) of his shots from the field. July scored 19 points in an 85-76 win on the road against Nova Southeastern and scored a game-high 19 points and grabbed eight rebounds against USC Aiken.

For the season, July is averaging 14.0 points and 6.8 rebounds per game. He has made 62% (31-50) of his shots from the field.
