Zach Bove of the baseball team has been selected as the Student-Athlete of the Month sponsored by Courtyard and Fairfield Inn & Suites by Marriott St. Augustine for the month of April. He earned Student-Athlete of the Week honors for the period ending Apr. 18.
For the month, Bove hit a team-best .444 with 28 hits, 14 runs scored, eight doubles, a home run, 14 runs batted in and a .619 slugging percentage. He helped lead Flagler to a 9-7 record in the month of April.
He finished the season with a team-best .376 batting average and led the team with 74 hits, 19 doubles, 48 RBI and a .563 slugging percentage. Flagler finished the year with a 29-23 record.
