Flagler College Athletics

Laura Martellino of the women's golf team was selected as the Flagler College Student-Athlete of the Week for the period ending Mar. 14.

Martellino finished in a second-place tie at the 21st Annual Eagle Invitational this past weekend. She shot a 158 which was one shot higher than her career-best. Martellino carded a 78 in the first round and then finished with an 80 on Sunday. Her opening round 78 was one shot higher than her best round of the season.

Martellino helped lead Flagler to a sixth place finish at the Eagle Invite.
