Flagler College Athletics

Kelly Riddick of the softball team has been selected as the Student-Athlete of the Month sponsored by Courtyard and Fairfield Inn & Suites by Marriott St. Augustine for the month of February. She was selected as the Flagler Student-Athlete of the Week for the period ending Feb. 14.

For the month, Riddick posted a 6-6 overall record with a 2.67 earned run average, 63.0 innings pitched, 72 strikeouts and just 47 hits allowed. She tossed Flagler's first no-hitter on Feb. 13 against Ave Maria. Riddick struck out 12 and walked a batter. She also tossed a three-hit shutout against No. 15 Nova Southeastern.

For the season, Riddick has an 8-7 record with a 2.27 ERA and two saves. Her 102 strikeouts leads the Peach Belt Conference.
