Flagler College Athletics

Tim Hansson of the men's tennis team was selected as the Flagler College Student-Athlete of the Week for the period ending Feb. 21.

Hansson's marathon win on Sunday over Augusta State's Rafael Milhati at No. 5 singles won the match for Flagler. He trailed 5-2 in the third set and battled back to force a tiebreaker. Hansson triumphed over intense pain from a leg cramps and won the tiebreaker set 7-5 to take match 3-6, 6-4, 7-6 (7-5).

He is 3-2 this season in singles play and 4-1 in doubles play where he teams with Harry Snoxell.
