D.J. Ferguson was named as the Flagler College Student-Athlete of the Week for the period ending Jan. 24.

Ferguson helped lead Flagler to a 1-2 week by averaging 11.0 points, 10.0 assists and 6.0 rebounds per game. He also made 85.7% (12-14) of his free throw attempts.

At USC Aiken, Ferguson narrowly missed a triple-double as he scored 16 points, dished out 14 assists and grabbed eight rebounds in a 92-84 loss. He tallied 12 assists in a 126-72 rout of Trinity (Fla.).

For the season, Ferguson is averaging 9.1 points, 10.3 assists (which leads the nation) and 4.3 rebounds per game. He is also averaging 2.13 assists per game.
