Flagler College Athletics

Junior middle blocker Krista McAra earned Flagler's Athlete of the Week honors for the period ending Oct. 15. She helped lead Flagler to a 4-1 week and the volleyball team's record now stands at 19-11.

McAra recorded 27 kills while hitting a robust .286 and recording a team-high 17 total blocks. She tallied 41.5 points last week.

For the season, her 64 total blocks ranks No. 2 on the team and she has recorded 158 kills while also serving up 28 aces.

Krista is a communications major at Flagler.
