Pete Sproules

Pete Sproules begins his 14th season as an assistant coach for the Flagler College volleyball program.

Sproules recently served (2013) as an assistant coach of Team Florida Wave, a professional team based in Orlando. The Wave finished runners-up for the Premier Volleyball League title.

Sproules coached teams of all levels, starting in 1990, for the Jacksonville Juniors Volleyball Association. He was the National 18U coach for the club and has served in that capacity for several years.

Sproules has coached in the Florida High Performance program since 2007.  In 2008 he coached at the USAV High Performance International Volleyball Tournament in Tucson, Ariz.  He served as an assistant to the Florida Region High Performance Select Blue Team that finished in third place.

Prior to coming to Flagler he coached at Episcopal High School from 2005 to 2011 and at Bishop Kenny High School from 2002 to 2005. 

Sproules is USAV certified coach and is also a NCAA National Level Referee.  He has played with the JJVA men's team which won the Florida Region Mens Championship in 2007. His experience as a player, official and coach speak to his dedication to the sport of volleyball.
