Kelly Pickett

Kelly (Holloway) Pickett is in her 14th season as the assistant coach for the Flagler volleyball program. 

Prior to her return to Flagler, Pickett served two years as the head junior varsity and assistant varsity coach at Oviedo (Fla.) High School. She has also served as a coach for the O-Town Volleyball Club from 2005-07. Pickett has been a head coach for the St. Augustine Volleyball Association for four seasons. 

Pickett played four years for the Saints at the libero position. She collected 890 digs in her career. Pickett played in 331 games and tallied 211 assists, 183 of which came in her freshman year. She also collected 85 career service aces and 22 kills.

She earned NAIA Academic All-America honors as a senior. Pickett was also selected Florida Sun Conference Libero of the Week four times and was selected as the FSC’s Defensive Player of the Year in 2004. She was also the recipient of the Athletic Director’s Award in all of Flagler’s women’s athletics as a senior.

Pickett currently works for the St. Johns County School District as a program specialist. She received her degree in sociology from Flagler in 2004 and her Master's in athletic administration from Nova Southeastern University in 2008. Pickett earned her doctorate in education from Nova Southeastern in 2012.

She is the wife of Jameson Pickett and the couple resides in St. Augustine with their two children.
