Biography

RS-FRESHMAN (2011): Played in eight matches...Missed most of the season due to injury...Tallied a season-high 24 assists vs. Wingate (Sept. 3). 

FRESHMAN (2010): Redshirted.

HIGH SCHOOL: Graduated from Parkland High School in Allentown, Pa....Lettered all four years in volleyball...A two-time all-state selection (once as a hitter in 2008 and once as a setter in 2009)...A three-time all-Lehigh Valley Conference selection....Nominated for the 2009 Pennsylvania Gatorade Player of the Year...Inducted into the Parkland High Hall of Fame...Her senior season, she hit .321 with 70 kills, 23 aces and averaged 8.4 assists per set...Tallied a season-high 56 assists vs. Allentown Central Catholic (Oct. 13)...Recorded a season-high 12 kills vs. Liberty (Sept. 8)...Captained team as a senior...As a junior, she helped lead team to a Lehigh Valley Conference title, a District 11 final and a No. 3 ranking in the state.

PERSONAL: Daughter of Daniel and Janice Dougherty...A deaf education/elementary education major...Has a brother...Likes to do Zumba, shop, and hang out with friends in her spare time...Her favorite television show is "CSI".
