HIGH SCHOOL: Prepped at Westfields Sports High School in Fairfield, New South Wales, Australia… A 2004 All-Star Five…An All-Australian School Team member in 2004…NSW All Schools Team selection in 2004…A two-time NSW CHS Team member…Selected to the All-Region Team from 2000-04…Captained team in 2003 and 2004…Played club basketball for the Bankstown Bruins of the Australian Basketball League…Named MVP of the Grand Final…Earned Defensive Player of the Year honors in 2004…Also selected as the Rookie of the Year, Defensive Player of the Final and Defensive Player of the Team…Led team to state championship titles in 2004 and 2005...Played for coaches Eric Kivi, Bernie Slattery, Jenny Henstock and Sonia Healy…Also participated in soccer, cross country and cricket.  PERSONAL: Daughter of Ben and Julie Hately…A sport management major…Has two sisters…Lists current Phoenix Mercury (WNBA) forward and Australian Olympian Belinda Snell as the best athlete she has ever faced.
