2012 (RS-JUNIOR): Played in 24 games with 15 starts...Collected six hits, including two doubles and a home run...Singled twice, scored a run and knocked in another vs. then-No. 3 West Texas A&M (Feb. 24)...Hit a home run, walked, scored two runs and drove in two more vs. Glenville State (Mar. 3)...Peach Belt Conference Presidential Honor Roll Presidential Scholar.

2011 (JUNIOR): Redshirted.

2010 (SOPHOMORE): Played in 33 games with 22 starts...Collected 11 hits and eight RBI...Belted a two-run home run at Rollins (Feb. 23)....Hit a two-run double vs. Barry (Mar. 3.)...Also hit a two-run home run at USC Aiken (Mar. 7)...Had a six-game hitting streak.

2009 (FRESHMAN): Played in 37 games and started 33...Recorded 17 hits, five doubles, drove in nine runs and scored seven times...Had five sacrifice hits...Went 2-for-2 with a walk in the home opener vs. Lynn (Feb. 14)...Collected two hits and scored a run vs. North Georgia (Mar. 15). 

HIGH SCHOOL: Graduated from Escambia High School in Pensacola, Fla....A three-year letterwinner in softball...Also lettered in soccer for one year...Team captain in 2008...Named to the first-team All-Northwest Florida in 2007...Earned third-team All-State honors...Member of the 2008 Pensacola Sports Association Softball All-Star game...Vice president of Fellowship of Christian Athletes.

PERSONAL: Daughter of Gordon and Pat Welch...A deaf education major...Favorite TV show is "Boy Meets World"...Likes mashed potatoes...Considers "The Butterfly Effect' her favorite movie.
