Hannah Bornamann was named assistant athletic trainer in early May of 2021.
Bornamann made the short trek north from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University in Daytona Beach where she served as a sports medicine fellow since July of 2020. She covered softball, volleyball, and women’s golf in the fall semester and continued on with volleyball, men’s and women’s tennis, and women’s golf in the spring. Bornamann assisted in the correspondence of COVID-19 sentinel testing and implemented return to play protocols.
Prior to her stint at Embry-Riddle, Bornamann did an immersive internship experience at the University of Michigan at Ann Arbor. She worked exclusively with its track and field program.
Bornamann received her bachelor's and master’s of athletic training from Eastern Michigan University in 2020. While at Eastern Michigan, she served as a student trainer. Â
