HIGH SCHOOL: Graduated from Southwest Florida Christian Academy in Fort Myers, Fla...Lettered in cross country and track...As a senior, he was a state medalist at the 1A state cross country meet and was nominated for cross country runner of the year....Broke his own school records in both the 5K and the 3200m as a junior...Was tabbed first team all-area...As a sophomore, he set the school record in the 5K, as well as setting the school record in the 3200m... Earned all-area second team.
