Kaitlin Rodriguez is in her eighth season as the assistant cross country and track and field coach after joining the program in 2017.
Since her arrival, Rodriguez has assisted the women's cross country team to six Peach Belt Conference (PBC) titles and 20 all-conference runners. On the men's side, Rodriguez helped produce 11 all-conference runners. During the indoor and outdoor track seasons, 12 Saints claimed all-conference on the men's side and 14 on the women's side under Rodriguez's coaching.
Rodriguez, a Flagler College alumna, was a part of the Saints' first women's cross country Peach Belt Conference Championship in 2013. In the same season as a sophomore, she and her team advanced to the Division II NCAA National Championship for the first time in program history.
During her Flagler career, she was a two-time All-PBC honoree in cross country and earned U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association all-region honors in 2015. Rodriguez was also a three-time PBC Presidential Honor Roll scholar. She was a member of the inaugural indoor track and field team in 2014-15. She graduated from Flagler with her bachelor's degree in criminology in 2017, and then graduated from the police academy a year later.
