Enola Savel begins her first season as the assistant cross country and track coach at Flagler.
"I am very excited to start my journey as an assistant coach," Savel said. "I am ready to grow Flagler athletics by recruiting from around the world."Â
Savel, a Limoges, France native, joined the program in the Fall of 2021 and recently graduated in the Spring of 2025. During her time as an athlete, she was a three time All-Peach Belt Conference and All-Southeast Region runner in cross country. During the 2025 winter and spring, Savel placed second at the conference track & field championship in the 10K and 5K. A two-time Division II NCAA National Championship qualifier for cross country, Savel and her teammates made an appearance in 2023 and 2024.
Since joining the program program, she has helped lead the Saints to four top five southeast region finishes, with the two most recent ones finishing in second. Individually, she finished a career high 15th place during the 2024 championship. Savel is currently ranked fourth in program history for the women's cross country 5K.
