RS-FRESHMAN (2011-12): Played in 23 games with five starts...Averaged 2.9 points and 1.9 rebounds per game...Scored a season-high 11 points and tallied a season-high seven assists vs. Trinity Baptist (Feb. 14)...Grabbed six rebounds vs. P.R.-Rio Piedras (Nov. 26).

FRESHMAN (2010-11): Redshirted.

HIGH SCHOOL: Graduated from Spraberry High School in Marietta, Ga....Lettered all four years in basketball, cross country and track & field...An Academic All-State in basketball in 2010...Averaged 9.0 points, 7.0 assists, 5.0 rebounds and 3.0 steals per game...An All-Region track athlete in 2010...Was the MVP of the cross country team as a senior.

PERSONAL: Son of Lisa Turpin...An economics major...Has three brothers and twin sisters...Lists enchiladas as his favorite food..."Remember the Titans" is his favorite movie..."Two and a Half Men," "King of Queens," and "SportsCenter" are his favorite television shows.
