2013 (JUNIOR): Made six appearances in relief...Tossed 7.1 innings...Tossed two-thirds of an inning against Clearwater Christian (Feb. 9) and allowed no runs on one hit...Pitched a scoreless inning vs. Florida Tech (Apr. 9).

2012 (SOPHOMORE): Played for Harford CC in Bel Air, Md....Went  5-3 with one save in 65 Innings…Pitched three complete games.

2011 (FRESHMAN): Finished 5-3 with three Saves in 45 Innings while pitching for the Fighting Owls of Harford...Held the opposition to a .244 batting average.

HIGH SCHOOL: Graduated from Fallston (Md.) High School...Lettered all four years in baseball…Selected as a team captain as a senior…An All-County selection as a junior and senior…Played in the Maryland State Association of Baseball Coaches (MSABC) 2010 All-Star game.

PERSONAL: Son of James and Megan Nelson...An economics major...Has two brothers...Lists going to the gym, playing Xbox and hunting as his hobbies…“Dexter” and “Breaking Bad” are his favorite TV shows...His favorite food is Japanese…Adam Jones is his favorite sports figure.
