2018 (FRESHMAN): Played in two games...Went 1-for-5 at the plate...Got his first collegiate hit at UNC Pembroke (April 22)...PBC Presidential Honor Roll Gold Scholar.

HIGH SCHOOL: Graduated from Pensacola (Fla.) Catholic High School...Lettered two years in baseball...Had a .515 on-base percentage and led the Class 4A District 1 in runners caught stealing with a 30 percent mark...Was a preseason honorable mention selection for the Rawlings/Perfect Game Florida Region...Helped the Crusaders to a 24-7 record and a district title as a senior...Team won the regional title and played in the Class 4A final four and advanced to the state final...Helped the team to a 22-3 record and a district title as a junior.

CLUB: Played for the Panhandle Athletics 18U team in the summer of 2017...Also played for the Coastal Prospects 17U (Fall 2016), the Orlando Scorpions North Prime 17U (Summer 2016), Triton Rays (Fall 2015).

PERSONAL: Son of Marc and Melanie Carpenter...Has a sister...A business administration major...His father, Marc '92, and his aunt, Denise Brown '95, are Flagler alums.
