Biography

2009 (JUNIOR): Played in 19 games and started 18...Missed over a month of the season due to injury...Batted .279 with two home runs and six RBI...Went 3-for-4 with a double, a home run, four runs scored and three more driven in at Saint Leo (Apr. 18)...Hit a two-run home run vs. West Florida in the season-opener (Feb. 6)...Drew three walks vs. Palm Beach Atlantic (Apr. 10).

2008 (SOPHOMORE): Played in 30 games, starting in 26...Batted .240 with four doubles, one home run and 11 RBI...Picked off two runners...Went 3-for-4 with a double, two runs scored and an RBI vs. Embry-Riddle (Mar. 25)...Hit a 3-run homer to help Flagler beat SCAD (Apr. 8).

2007 (FRESHMAN): Played in 43 games, starting 40...Played center field for most of the season...Batted .319 with a team-high 17 doubles, one triple, one home run and 21 RBI...Scored 26 runs...Went 4-for-4 with three doubles, four RBI and four runs scored vs. Bethel, Ind. (Feb. 28)...Went 3-for-5 with two doubles, two RBI and a run scored vs. Northwood, Fla. (Feb. 23)...Went 3-for-3 with a triple, two RBI and two runs scored vs. Georgetown, Ky. (Mar. 11)...On the last day of the season, went 3-for-3 with two doubles, a stolen base, an RBI and three runs scored vs. St. Thomas, Fla. (Apr. 28). 

HIGH SCHOOL: Graduated from the Stanton College Preparatory School in Jacksonville…Lettered four years in baseball for Head Coach Joel Davis…Northeast Florida’s Class 4A Player of the Year in 2006…A second-team All-City selection as a sophomore…A two-time honorable mention All-City selection...A three-time All-Conference member…Co-captained team as a senior.

PERSONAL: Son of Perry and Debra Maddox…A sport management major…Has a sister…The toughest player he has ever faced is current Houston Astros prospect and former Bishop Moore star Max Sapp…His favorite television show is ESPN’s “Baseball Tonight.”
